Saudi Army, plans to buy more battle tanks next yearnote

The Pentagon announced earlier this week a potential sale of 130 Abrams M1A2S battle tanks to Saudi Arabia. The sale has yet to be passed by the US Congress. However, this is not going to be the end of the Saudi purchases of battle tanks.
