UAE: A submarine for naval force on Mayyun Islandnote

The General Staff of the UAE Armed Forces is said to be going ahead with a project to supply the Emirati naval forces in the Red Sea with at least one submarine. This comes within the context of a plan to reinforce the Emirati naval presence in the region, in particular near the strait of Bab Al-Mandeb.
