Qatar: Emir Tamim for permanent US troops at Al-Udeid basenote

Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani is said to have agreed in principle to take charge of financing the presence of 5000 troops of the US Army permanently at Al-Udeid air base in Qatar.
