Qatar, the Pentagon and financing of the US military presencenote

Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani is said to have decided earlier this month to honor his commitment to take part in the financing of the US military presence in Syria and Iraq and in other regions of the Middle East.
