Iraq: Abdulmahdi, Bolton and arms dealsnote

U.S. National Security Advisor John Bolton is said to have warned Iraqi Prime Minister Adel Abdulmahdi to block Iraqi arms deals with the U.S. in case the Iraqi government continues supporting Iran.

This came after Iraqi President Barham Saleh rejected the outcome of last week’s Arab summit meeting in Makkah, which condemned Iran.
