Saudi Arabia, Japan to expand military cooperationnote

Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad Bin Salman Bin Abdulaziz held a telephone conversation on Tuesday (Sept. 8, 2020) with Japanese Defense Minister Taro Kono.

They are said to have discussed the activation of the Saudi-Japanese defense agreement signed in Tokyo in 2016, in light of Japanese efforts to expand military cooperation with Saudi Arabia in several fields.
