Kuwait: Sheikh Ahmad Al-Nawaf, new KNG Deputy Chiefnote

Sheikh Ahmad Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, the son of Kuwaiti Emir Nawaf Al-Ahmad, was appointed last month (19/11/20) as Deputy Chief of the Kuwait National Guard (KNG).

Emir Nawaf’s decision to appoint his son as KNG Deputy Chief is said to come as a prelude to the implementation of broad changes within the KNG.
