Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry held a telephone conversation last Tuesday (23/2/21) with US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, during which Blinken expressed concerns over Egypt’s purchase of Sukhoi Su-35SE fighter jets from Russia.
Shoukry’s conversation with Blinken is said to have made little progress in resolving US concerns about Egyptian military procurement from Russia.
