Qatari Emir Tamim has invited (25/5/21) Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi to visit Doha.
The invitation was conveyed by Qatari Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammad Bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani during his meeting with his Egyptian counterpart Sameh Shoukry in Cairo, where they discussed the agenda for President El-Sisi’s possible visit.
Emir Tamim’s invitation is said to have confirmed that he is seeking to rapidly reactivate Qatar’s relations with Egypt.
In this regard, there is talk that Emir Tamim is planning to bring to the table plans by the Qatari defense company Barzan Holdings to cooperate with the Egyptian military industries.
