Bahrain Air Force: New F-16 Block 70/72 deal? [Update No. 1]note

It was reported last month that the command of the Royal Bahraini Air Force (RBAF) is seeking to upgrade the RBAF's fighter jet fleet.

In this regard, there was talk that Bahrain may place a new order of F-16 Block 70/72 fighters, which are produced by US defense company Lockheed Martin.

Bahraini defense officials are said to have confirmed their plans to initiate a new round of discussions with Lockheed Martin for an additional order of F-16 Block 70/72 fighters.
