Saudi King Salman is said to be looking to rearrange the relations between his son Crown Prince Mohammad and the sons and grandsons of former Saudi kings and crown princes, as Crown Prince Mohammad’s efforts to fight corruption in recent years have led to the arrest and detention of many of these members of the ruling Al Saud family.
In this regard, there is talk that King Salman is currently drawing up “a new mechanism for the prosecution of Al Saud members”.
