Last month (25/6/21), Undersecretary of the Kuwaiti Ministry of Interior Lt General Essam Al-Naham and Commander of the United States Naval Forces Central Command (NAVCENT), the United States Fifth Fleet (C5F), and the Combined Maritime Forces (CMF) Vice Admiral Brad Cooper, inspected the Sabah Al-Ahmad Naval Base and its operations room in Kuwait.
In this context, the Pentagon is said to be planning to support efforts aimed at strengthening the capabilities of the Kuwait Coast Guard (KCG), as part of a joint Kuwaiti-US naval security cooperation program.
There is talk that this support will include providing the KCG with US-made communication systems.
Tactical Report has prepared a 379-word report to shed more light on this subject.
