UAE, Turkey, efforts to expand relationsnote

Contacts are said to be ongoing between Emirati and Turkish officials ever since Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi Sheikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al-Nahyan and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s recent telephone conversation (31/8/21).

This telephone conversation was preceded by a visit from Emirati National Security Adviser Sheikh Tahnoon Bin Zayed to Ankara, during which he met with President Erdogan.

In this context, there is talk that Emirati-Turkish relations are expected to rapidly expand in several fields.
