Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi visited the UAE on Wednesday (26/1/2022) and held talks with Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi Sheikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
The talks are said to have revolved around joint defense cooperation, entailing Egyptian support to promote the UAE’s air defenses after the recent Houthi attacks on Abu Dhabi.
The Skyguard AMOUN air defense system is reported to be at the basis of Egypt’s support operations for the UAE.
