Qatari Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammad Bin Abdulrahman Al Thani visited Iran on Thursday (27/1/2022), and met with Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi and the Iranian Minister of Foreign Affairs Hossein Amir-Abdollahian.
The visit came just days before Qatari Emir Tamim’s meeting with U.S. President Joe Biden in Washington today, Monday (31/1/2022).
The meeting with Amir-Abdollahian is said to have revolved around the nuclear deal negotiations and the U.S. stance in this regard.
