The Chief of Staff of the Saudi Armed Forces General Fayyadh Al-Ruwaili visited Cyprus on Wednesday (2/2/2022) and met with Cypriot President Nicos Anastasiades at the presidential palace in Nicosia.
General Al-Ruwaili also met the Cypriot Adviser of National Security Dr. Kyriacos P. Kouros, during which they discussed a number of issues of common interest and defense priorities between the two countries' Defense Ministries.
However, the true objectives of General Al-Ruwaili’s visit are said to have revolved around cooperation in specific defense fields.
