Omani Minister of Foreign Affairs Sayyid Badr Bin Hamad Bin Hamood Al-Busaidi arrived in Tehran on Wednesday (23/2/2022) and held talks with his Iranian counterpart Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, and Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi.
The visit comes as nuclear talks between Iran and world powers continued in Vienna.
Sayyid Badr handed Iranian President Raisi a written message from Sultan Haitham of Oman. The message is said related to the advanced bilateral relations binding the two countries and their peoples, among other issues.
Sayyid Badr’s visit is said to have followed undisclosed contacts with his U.S. counterpart Antony Blinken.
