Sultan Haitham of Oman and the British HM Treasury, Department for International Trade, and Ministry of Defense are said to be in constant contacts regarding military and commercial partnership.
The Adviser to the British Minister of Defense and Commercial Envoy to the British Prime Minister, Lord Astor of Hever visited Oman on (8/3/2022) where he met with Chief of Staff of Sultan of Oman’s Armed Forces (SOAF) Lt-General Abdullah Bin Khamis Al-Raisi and Secretary-General of the Omani Defense Ministry Mohammad Al-Zaabi.
The visit is said to have come in the context of establishing further military projects in Oman, including logistics facilities.
