The Saudi Ministry of Defense is reported to be working on enhancing the defense capabilities of the Royal Saudi Naval Forces (RSNF) against the threats of surface and underwater autonomous naval systems.
A large-scale project for this matter is expected to be announced during the Second International Maritime Forum on November 15/11/2022 in Jeddah, titled “The Protection of Naval Units and Vital Coastal Area Against the Threat of Unmanned Systems”.
