An Amiri Decree was issued on 16/10/2022 to form a new Kuwaiti government.

Sheikh Abdullah’s appointment is reported to have come upon a direct recommendation from Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al Sabah.
