A memorandum of understanding (MoU) on strategic defense industry cooperation was signed on the sidelines of South Korean President Yoon Suk-yeol’s visit to the UAE on 14/1/2023.
The MoU was signed between South Korea’s Defense Acquisition Program Administration (DAPA) and the UAE's Tawazun Economic Council.
Tawazun is said to be looking to import a wide variety of South Korean defense products that include, but are not limited to land systems.
