It was previously reported that Qatari-Singaporean trade, economic, and investment relations would expand to include defense understandings and agreements in 2023.
In this regard, contacts occurred between Qatari and Singaporean officials to discuss activating defense cooperation. The cooperation includes the transfer and localization of Singaporean military technologies to Qatar.
In the same context, Qatari Minister of State for Defense Affairs Khaled Al-Attiyah met last Friday (2/6/2023) with the Singaporean Minister of Defense Dr. Eng Hen, during an official visit to Singapore.
