Earlier this month (11/7/2023), a joint ministerial meeting was held in Moscow between Russian Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergei Lavrov and his GCC counterparts.
Lavrov was expecting full cooperation with GCC countries concerning nuclear and renewable energy cooperation.
However, the GCC countries had different views.
