Reports from Washington suggest that President Trump is taking the position that the Arab Gulf states should do their part to help guarantee the freedom of navigation in the Gulf.
As
he remains open to American participation in escorting oil tankers and other
vessels in the region, he thinks the ultimate burden will fall on the Saudis
and Emiratis.
