Saudi Arabia, Russia, and land systemsnote

The first batch of Saudi students from the Royal Saudi Land Forces (RSLF) who had received scholarships from the King Abdulaziz Military College to study at Russia’s Far Eastern Higher Combined Arms Command School (DVOKU) graduated last week (27/7/21) after a five-year program.

The graduation ceremony was attended by a number of high-ranking Saudi and Russian officers, including Commander of the King Abdulaziz Military College Major General Ali Bin Saleh Ibrahim Al-Hudayf.

In this regard, there is talk that in addition to their exceptional interest in this event, high-ranking Saudi officers have shown a strong interest in various types of Russian-made land systems.

Which kinds of land systems is the Kingdom interested in acquiring from Russia?

Tactical Report answers these questions and more in the following 326-word report.
