Qatar: Emir Tamim, mediatory role in Yemen?note

It was reported last week (22/10/20) that Qatar is considering sending an ambassador to the Yemeni capital Sanaa, which is controlled by the Yemeni Houthi rebels.

This matter is said to be linked to efforts by Qatari Emir Tamim to bring the Houthis and the Yemeni pro-Muslim Brotherhood Al-Islah party closer together.
