Commander of the US Central Command (CENTCOM) General Kenneth McKenzie visited Saudi Arabia last month (25/1/21), where he conducted a tour of commercial and industrial ports as well as airbases in the Red Sea region.
General McKenzie revealed during his visit to the Yanbu Commercial Port that the Pentagon began efforts a year ago to expand the United States’ capability of deploying US military forces in Saudi airbases and supplying these forces with weapons, in case a war breaks out with Iran.
Meanwhile, there is talk that Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad Bin Salman Bin Abdulaziz and the Pentagon have been discussing possible US efforts to contribute to the protection of Saudi strategic facilities in the Red Sea region.
Tactical Report has prepared a 398-word report to shed more light on this subject and provide details about Crown Prince Mohammad's talks with the Pentagon.
