Kuwait: Sheikh Meshaal, Head of National Security Councilnote

Kuwaiti Crown Prince Sheikh Meshaal Al-Ahmad was named last week (31/3/21) as Head of the newly established National Security Council.

There is talk that Kuwaiti Emir Nawaf Al-Ahmad has relied mainly on his brother Sheikh Meshaal on matters related to Kuwait’s security, especially since Sheikh Meshaal is said to have a strategic security vision.
