Saudi General Authority for Defense Development (GADD)note

The Saudi cabinet, chaired by Saudi King Salman, approved yesterday (14/9/21) the establishment of the General Authority for Defense Development (GADD).

The new body, which will be directly linked to King Salman, is charged with all future research, development and innovation activities related to the fields of technology and defense. It is also tasked with developing policies and strategies for the Saudi defense technology sector.
