The UAE Armed Forces (UAEAF) is interested in expanding military reconnaissance cooperation with France.
This cooperation is expected to be discussed during the visit of UAE President Sheikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan to France on 17-18-19/7/2022.
The UAE is said to be looking to acquire additional optical reconnaissance satellites.
Abu Dhabi is considering such satellites from the French aerospace companies Airbus Defence and Space and Thales Alenia Space, and the U.S. defense company Lockheed Martin.
