Abu Dhabi Ship Building (ADSB), EDGE subsidiary, unveiled the 51M offshore patrol vessel (OPV) at the Indo Defense Expo & Forum 2022 (2-5 November) which is designed in cooperation with the Turkish Ares Shipyard and built by ADSB in the UAE.
ADSB and Ares Shipyard are reported to have been working to co-design vessels for almost the past 14 months and the 510 OPV is an initial project.
Also, ADSB is said to be engaged in other design projects with Ares Shipyard.
