Saudi Arabia is reported to be in talks with China for the procurement of the LW-30 laser defense weapon system.
The deal is said to include China Aerospace Science & Industry Corporation Limited (CASIC) setting up a subsidiary in Saudi Arabia, where they will help the Kingdom’s military industries with laser-related technologies.
