Saudi Arabia and Russia opted during the last OPEC+ virtual ministerial meeting last Wednesday (4/10/2023) to maintain their oil production cuts at least for the remainder of the year.
Before the meeting, several energy analysts predicted the Kingdom would start easing its production cuts, fearing oil demand destruction, as prices rose towards the $100 per barrel mark.
