Bahrain-Air Defense: Eyeing a Lockheed Martin systemnote

Bahraini military officials are in contact with the Pentagon and the U.S. Department of State to enhance military cooperation.

In this regard, the Pentagon asked U.S. defense companies, including Lockheed Martin, to discuss with Manama the needed equipment to improve its air defense capabilities against cruise missiles and UCAVs.

Bahrain is said to be interested in a specific system made by Lockheed Martin.
