UAE President Sheikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan (MBZ) previously invited Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to attend the UN Climate Change Conference (COP28) in Dubai later this month (30/11/2023).
MBZ was willing to demonstrate his intention to use the conference as a platform to solidify the UAE’s ties with Israel.
However, the elevation of the Palestinian issue across the Muslim world is said to have reshuffled the outlook of the UAE’s leadership toward the upcoming (COP28) summit.
