USA to favor UAE hydrogen investments at the expense of KSA?note

During President Joe Biden’s visit to Saudi Arabia on 15/7/2022, a bilateral agreement was signed involving a Framework on Clean Energy Cooperation (FCEC), which is an open-ended agreement that will include both U.S. and Saudi investments regarding green hydrogen (H2) production.

However, the U.S. has taken no further action with regard to the FCEC as they see more tangible progress resulting from the $100 billion Partnership for Accelerating Clean Energy (PACE) framework signed with the UAE.

Tactical Report has prepared a 404-word (2 pages) report to shed more light on the issues of the FCEC agreement with Saudi Arabia, and why the U.S. is favoring the UAE PACE agreement.
