The General Authority for Military Industries (GAMI) signed on 30/11/2022 a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Spanish shipbuilder Navantia to build multi-mission combat ships (MMCS) for the Royal Saudi Naval Forces (RSNF).
Navantia is said to be assessing potential local shipbuilding candidates to execute the MMCS project.
