Saudi Arabia signed on 30/11/2022 a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Spanish shipbuilder Navantia to build multi-mission surface combatants (MMSCs) for the Royal Saudi Naval Forces (RSNF).
The Saudi Ministry of Defense is said to have started the evaluation of weapons configurations for the ordered MMSCs.
