Emirati President Sheikh Mohammad Bin Zayed (MBZ) met his Iranian counterpart Masoud Pezeshkian for the first time on the sidelines of the BRICS Summit in the Russian city of Kazan on 23/10/2024.
In this regard, the two leaders discussed the dispute over the three islands and other files of common interest.
MBZ sent advice to Iranian officials concerning the dispute.
He also conveyed messages on behalf of the GCC countries to President Pezeshkian.
