Saudi Arabia and Egypt are collaborating to secure the Red Sea region.
In this regard, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad Bin Salman (MBS) and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi discussed during their meeting in Cairo on 15/10/2024 strengthening maritime military and security cooperation in the Red Sea.
Additionally, the two leaders agreed on forming joint naval units.

- The defense systems needed to enhance security
