The Pentagon is said to have recently requested from Qatar to urge the Turkish Navy to cease underwater activities near the Khaled Bin Al-Walid Camp.
The Camp now serves as the headquarters of the Qatar-Turkey Joint Forces Command. Qatari Minister of State for Defense Affairs Khaled Al-Attiyah and Turkish Defense Minister Khulusi Akar inaugurated the headquarters on 15/12/19.
