Qatar Navy, plans to buy Turkish-made AUSVsnote

Turkey announced last Tuesday (15/12/20) that the prototype of the first Turkish-made armed unmanned surface vessel (AUSV) known as ULAQ has been completed.

This AUSV is jointly produced by Turkish shipbuilders ARES Shipyard and Meteksan Defense.

In this context, the Qatari Navy command is said to be planning to buy several ULAQ AUSVs from Turkey.
