Qatar: Emir Tamim, mediatory role in Gaza?note

Ismail Haniyeh, Head of the political bureau of the Palestinian militant group Hamas, addressed a pro-Palestine rally in Doha last Saturday (15/5/21), amid the ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza Strip.

Haniyeh’s visit to Qatar and his attendance at the pro-Palestine rally are said to have raised several questions about Qatari Emir Tamim’s plans with regards to the Gaza file.

Meanwhile, there is talk that Emir Tamim has been asked to play a mediatory role to end the aggression on Gaza.
