Saudi Admiral Al-Ghufaili’s views on naval cooperation with Russianote

Last week (24/6/21), Commander of the Royal Saudi Naval Forces (RSNF) Admiral Fahd Al-Ghufaili headed a delegation that attended the International Maritime Defence Show (IMDS-2021), which was held in Saint Petersburg, Russia (23-27/6/21).

Admiral Al-Ghufaili also met with his Russian counterpart Admiral Nikolai Yevmenov on the sidelines of the IMDS-2021.

In this context, there is talk that Admiral Al-Ghufaili often expresses his views on the importance of cooperating with countries such as Russia to secure the needs of the RSNF.
