Qatar: Mediation between Turkey and Egypt on Muslim Brotherhood filenote

Qatari Emir Tamim is said not to hide his direct role in persuading his ally Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to respond positively to Egypt’s demands with regards to the Muslim Brotherhood file.

Last Thursday (18/3/2), Turkey ordered all television channels affiliated with the Muslim Brotherhood to stop criticism of Egypt.

Deputy General Guide of Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood Ibrahim Munir later said (21/3/21) that his group welcomes Turkey’s mediation efforts with the Egyptian regime.
