On the first of February, 2022, the U.S. multinational energy corporation Chevron started discussions with Egypt, Israel, and Turkey regarding a set of plans that would see the establishment of a new pipeline linking Leviathan offshore gas field with LNG terminals located in either Egypt or Turkey.

However, Chevron representatives are not convinced and are instead focusing their efforts on finalizing their negotiations with the Turkish and Israeli sides.
Tactical Report has prepared a 390-word report to shed more light on the situation, and on Chevron’s position regarding Egypt, Turkey and Israel.
